Ali Al-Fulaij is a C-suite executive with extensive experience across wealth management, investment advisory, private banking, and relationship management. A Chartered Wealth Manager by the American Academy for Financial Management, his career reflects more than two decades of progressive leadership across Kuwait and the wider Gulf financial services landscape.

Building a Career in Wealth Management

Al-Fulaij began his professional career in banking, joining Gulf Bank as a Branch Manager in 2000. His early experience provided a foundation in banking operations, customer relationships, and branch leadership before he moved into the investment and wealth management sector.

In 2005, he joined Global Investment House, where he spent more than 13 years and progressed to Senior Vice President. During this period, he developed significant expertise in Corporate and Institutional Wealth Management, strengthening his experience in serving sophisticated financial and investment needs.

Expanding Investment Leadership

In 2018, Al-Fulaij joined Arcapita as a Director, further broadening his experience within the investment industry. His career continued to progress through senior executive positions at Rasameel Investment Company, where he served as Executive Vice President from 2019 to 2022 before becoming Chief Operating Officer in December 2022.

As COO, his leadership scope extended into the operational side of investment management, complementing his longstanding expertise in wealth management and investments.

Executive Leadership at ABK Capital

In November 2023, Al-Fulaij was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer at ABK Capital, Kuwait, a position he held through April 2026.

His progression to C-suite leadership reflects a career built across banking, wealth management, investment operations, and strategic financial services, supported by his expertise in private banking, wealth management, and relationship management.
