Yusef has built a distinguished career across investment management, private wealth, institutional relationships, and corporate leadership. Leading Distribution at Investcorp

Yusef currently serves as Global Head of Distribution at Investcorp, a position he has held since February 2024. He is also a member of Investcorp’s Executive Committee, a role he has held since September 2024, and has been a member of the company’s Operating Committee since April 2022.

His current responsibilities build on a long career at Investcorp that has included senior positions across private wealth, Gulf institutions, investor relationship management, and investment placement.

From December 2020 to February 2024, Yusef served as Managing Partner and Head of Private Wealth. Before that, he was Managing Director and Head of Gulf Institutions from July 2019 to December 2020 and Managing Director in Investors Relationship Management from July 2011 to July 2019.

Earlier in his Investcorp career, he served as Principal in Placement and Relationships Management from 2005 to 2011.

He served as Principal at Arcapita Bank B.S.C.(c) from May 2002 to September 2005. Earlier, he held corporate banking management positions at Ahli United Bank and National Bank of Bahrain.

His professional career began in commercial marketing with Unilever, where he served as Assistant Manager from 1996 to 1997. This early experience preceded his transition into banking and investment services.
