Amer Nasereddin: Building Businesses, Partnerships and Jordan’s Entrepreneurial Ecosystem

The Top CEOs1 week ago

Entrepreneurship is rarely defined by a single company. Its wider impact often comes from the businesses created, markets entered, partnerships formed and entrepreneurs supported along the way.

For Amer Nasereddin, that journey spans three decades across technology, digital transformation, investment and business development. As Founder and Managing Partner of Primus, his career has evolved from building an IT business into a broader role across entrepreneurship, investment, board leadership and strategic growth.

Three Decades of Technology Entrepreneurship

Nasereddin founded Primus in 1996, beginning a journey that would see the company develop across IT, cybersecurity, software solutions and infrastructure services.

Over time, Primus expanded beyond Jordan into markets including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Qatar, Palestine, the United States and the United Kingdom.

His role in that expansion reflects one of the recurring themes of his career: identifying opportunities for growth and building the relationships required to enter new markets.

Building a company is one challenge. Building the partnerships and networks that allow it to grow across markets is another.

Entrepreneurship Beyond a Single Venture

Nasereddin’s entrepreneurial activity has extended across several industries.

He spent 13 years as Managing Partner of Consultel, while also co-founding ConsultUs, a regional consulting business working across economic growth, water, healthcare, energy and renewable energy.

He has supported other ventures as an investor, board member and adviser, and co-founded Yaseer B2B, a Jordanian business-to-business marketplace.

Today, his work also extends into investment as Vice President of Investor Relations at Fikr Ventures, adding another dimension to a career increasingly focused on connecting entrepreneurs, businesses, investors and opportunities.

Strengthening the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem

An important part of Nasereddin’s contribution has taken place beyond the companies he has helped build.

Through the Entrepreneurs’ Organization, he has held leadership responsibilities at both Jordanian and international levels, including serving as President of the Jordan Chapter and contributing to global chapter expansion and external engagement.

He has also spent years mentoring younger entrepreneurs through his voluntary involvement with Endeavor Jordan.

Entrepreneurial ecosystems become stronger when experienced founders remain engaged with the generation building what comes next.

This emphasis on mentorship reflects a shift that often occurs in mature entrepreneurial careers. Experience gained from building businesses becomes valuable not only within the founder’s own organisation, but also when it helps other entrepreneurs navigate growth.

From Founder to Ecosystem Connector

Board and advisory responsibilities have further broadened Nasereddin’s perspective.

His experience includes board service with MadfooatCom and involvement with Arab Telemedia Group, alongside advisory work with emerging businesses in areas such as health and wellness and solar energy.

Rather than remaining concentrated within technology alone, his career has increasingly connected different sectors, founders and institutions.

His academic background in Business Administration with a Marketing concentration from the University of Washington complements this commercial perspective, particularly his long-standing focus on business development, strategic planning and market expansion.

Leadership Through Connection

Across Nasereddin’s career, one capability appears repeatedly: bringing the right people, businesses and opportunities together.

Technology provided the foundation, but his professional scope has expanded into fundraising, partnerships, investment, mentorship and ecosystem development.

That evolution demonstrates a broader form of CEO leadership. Growth is not always created internally. It can also emerge from the networks an executive builds and the opportunities those networks make possible.

The most enduring entrepreneurial impact is often measured not only by what a leader builds, but by what they enable others to build.

Recognition Among Jordan’s Top CEOs

Amer Nasereddin’s three-decade journey represents a sustained contribution to Jordan’s technology and entrepreneurial landscape.

From founding Primus and expanding its reach internationally to supporting new ventures, mentoring entrepreneurs and connecting businesses with investment and strategic partnerships, his role has evolved considerably while retaining entrepreneurship at its centre.

For Jordan Top CEOs, his story represents leadership that extends beyond the boundaries of one company. It is a career built around creating businesses, opening markets and strengthening the connections through which Jordanian entrepreneurship can continue to grow.
