As an Operation Team Leader, Qutob managed aircraft turnaround activities, coordinated loading and off-loading procedures, and supervised more than 20 employees on each flight. The role involved close coordination with cargo, provisioning, customs, maintenance, and technical-services teams.

Qutob also worked with aircraft weight-and-balance requirements, Ground Support Equipment (GSE), ground-to-cockpit communication, and turnaround procedures. An important part of the role was analyzing flight delays, identifying root causes, and supporting corrective actions.

Earlier, as a Ramp Agent, Qutob coordinated pushback activities, supported aircraft maneuvering procedures, managed communication systems, and helped maintain safety standards across ramp operations.

A Foundation in Passenger and Airport Services

Qutob began the aviation career at SGS as a Customer Service Representative, gaining direct experience in passenger and departure operations.

Responsibilities included passenger check-in, denied-passenger procedures, departure-gate activities, and preparation of daily shift reports. The role also provided exposure to ground-handling services for airlines including flyadeal, flynas, Nesma Airlines, and Saudi Gulf Airlines.

This progression—from customer service and ramp operations to team leadership and airport station management—has provided Qutob with experience across multiple dimensions of airline ground operations.

Operational Experience Beyond Aviation

Before entering the aviation industry, Qutob worked as an Operator at Aramco, developing experience in industrial operations, equipment monitoring, process-control systems, safety procedures, and operational reporting.

This earlier technical and operational background complements the later aviation career, particularly in areas requiring attention to procedures, safety, equipment performance, and operational discipline.
